Bambidress Return and Cancellation Policy
Bambidresses are made in China BUT we are NOT Chinese. We are European ! That means that you are covered by the most advanced customer protection legislation in the world. Bambidress conforms to the European Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 85/577/EEC and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council Text with EEA relevance. You can download a copy of the directive HERE.We understand that it is a very important undertaking for you to order a dress for your special occasion, and our return and cancellation policy were created bearing this in mind. Your satisfaction is our priority. HOWEVER, it is important to note that ALL our dresses are MADE TO ORDER, and once the tailoring process has begun the materials cannot be reused and the labor time cannot be recovered. The good news is that after placing your order, there is still ample time for you to change your mind and Bambidress will send you photos of your dress as it is being made so you can express concerns / doubts and ask for any modifications before the dress is finally shipped.
Once your order arrives, you should check and make sure the dress has been made in accordance with your order specifications. You should try on your dress as soon as possible without altering, removing the tags, or washing the dress. If you are returning or exchanging dresses or accessories, please make sure they are in their original packaging and packing state - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean, free of lint and hair and with tags intact and attached, otherwise we cannot guarantee you a refund even if you send it back.
General Return Policy
- You will receive a FULL REFUND (excluding shipping costs) for defective, damaged, mis-shipped items or if there is a incorrect size or incorrect color problem. HOWEVER, if we have shipped the order correctly we are not obliged to refund or accept returns.
- Online purchases of articles that are not made to order have what is called a "cooling off period", which means that you can return the item within 14 days with no reason. HOWEVER ALL OUR DRESSES ARE MADE TO ORDER and therefore there is NO "COOLING OFF PERIOD" for Bambidress purchases.
- Please note that items returned in an unacceptable condition will not be processed as refunds
- Customers must pay the shipping costs and customs costs (if applicable) for returns.
- PayPal payment can only be refunded via PayPal, Credit Card payment will only be refunded to the original Credit Card
- In Bambidress your satisfaction is our priority and we are willing to try and accomodate your needs as best we can, even if we have not made an error in the order, assuming that those needs are reasonable to both parties.
Return Procedure for Defective or Damaged Items
- Submit a return request to Bambidress Customer Service at info@bambidress.com within 3 days upon receiving your order.
- Please include a detailed explanation and photographs stating the reason for your return.
- Bambidress Customer Service will review the photographs and reasons and respond to you within 48 hours. Bambidress may ask you to send more information before approval of the return.
- Please note that returns will not be accepted without prior approval from our Customer Service.
- Once our Customer Service has approved your return request, we will provide you with return address as well as a Product Return Form that must be filled in and included with your return.
- Please send the item(s) through your local post office within 3-5 business days once you have received the form. Include the Product Return Form with your return. If you use a courier agency like UPS, DHL or FedEx to return the item(s) YOU will be liable for any CUSTOMS FEES that might be incurred. Bambidress Customer Service can inform you of the best way to ship via courier should you prefer that option. The customer is liable for all the shipping costs for the return.
- Once we have received the item(s) at our facility, we will inform you within 24 hours.
- Once items(s) have been inspected and confirmed to be Defective or Damaged, we will make a FULL REFUND (excluding shipping costs) to your PayPal or Credit Card account within 14 days.
Return Procedure for Incorrectly Shipped Items
- Once we have confirmed that the item has been incorrectly shipped we will offer you the possibility of either having the Item resshipped or a FULL REFUND (including shipping costs)
- If you choose a full refund, we will make a FULL REFUND (including shipping costs) to your PayPal or Credit Crad account within 48 hours.
Return Procedure for Incorrectly Sized Items
- All items are measured before, during and after the manufacturing process. Bambidress also takes photos of the dress before shipping.
- If the size of the dress corresponds to the size specified in the order Bambidress is not obliged to refund or accept a return.
- If your dress size differs from the specifications of your order by more than one inch then Bambidress offers the following possibilities:
- Use a local tailor to make adjustments. Bambidress will reimburse you up to a maximum of 10% of the product price to cover the tailoring costs. If you choose this option, please remember to request a receipt from your tailor as a copy of it must be provided when requesting reimbursement.
- You can also send back the dress for FREE alterations, HOWEVER, you will have to pay for the shipping costs to and from Bambidress.
- Return the dress to Bambidress following the procedure above for "Defective or Damaged Items"
- If your dress differs from the specifications of your order by less than one inch, Bambidress will consider the dress to be correctly sized. All Bambidresses are made with one inch of extra material in the seams to allow for changes by a local tailor.
Return Procedure for incorrectly Colored Items
- All items are photographed before, during and after the manufacturing process. Bambidress also send photos of the dress to the customer during the manufacturing process and just before shipping.
- Please bear in mind that some colors may be seen slightly differently on different computer / telephone screens.
- If the customer maintains that the color of the dress delivered does NOT coincide with the color of the dress ordered or the color of the dress sent to the customer during the manufacturing process, the customer may begin the return process by following the procedure above for "Defective or Damaged Items"
- If the color of the dress is in fact the correct color Bambidress will not be obliged to refund or accept a return.
Return Procedure for Dresses that do not look as described
- Bambidress gives the customer ample time to express doubts or concerns regarding the appearence of the dress during the manufacturing process by sending photos of the dress as it is being made and when it is finished.
- Bear in mind that ALL Bambidress desses are MADE TO ORDER and as such they may vary up to 10% from the model shown in the photograph on the web due to the different body shapes and requirements of different people.
- If you feel the difference between the dress delivered and the dress described and shown in the web is greater than 10% then follow the return procedure for "Defective or Damaged Items".
Order Cancellation Policy
- Unpaid orders will be deemed cancelled after 3 days
- Orders canceled within 6 hours of payment confirmation will be eligible for a full refund
- Orders canceled 6 to 12 hours after payment confirmation will be eligible for a partial refund of 90% to cover the material costs.
- Orders canceled 12 to 24 hours after payment confirmation will be eligible for a partial refundof 70% to cover the material and labor costs.
- Orders canceled more than 24 hours after payment confirmation will be eligible for a partial refund of up to 50% (the exact amounts depends on how late the the cancellation was)
- Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled.
